 I’m Tiffany, a compassionate therapist, and daring optimist. I’m based in Davis, California. 

 

My mission is to empower you to regain your sense of control, find balance, and help you grow into a life that’s meaningful for you.

I work with Millennials who struggle with anxiety, depression, self esteem, cultural issues, relationships, career stress, burn out, and trauma. As someone who was first introduced to therapy in college while struggling with anxiety and depression herself, I sought support and soon discovered that therapy was an incredibly useful tool that guided me back to my best self. I didn’t feel supported by my family and I found that despite my friends’ best efforts, they just didn’t quite get it. With a professional, I felt heard, seen, and understood. Now as a passionate therapist, I’m thrilled and excited to have the chance to work with you. 

Drawing from a wide range of professional and life experiences having worked with many different populations ranging from teens and adults with eating disorders, older adults, Asian Pacific Islander refugees, to school age children and their families, I bring a diversified perspective into therapy. 

 

My approach to therapy:

Life is challenging but you don’t have to struggle alone. Sometimes, making time for yourself to reflect on your own thoughts can be a great way to unpack in a safe and confidential space.

We will work collaboratively to create an environment that feels safe and supportive. My style is described as compassionate, assertive, and empowering. I help to guide you towards self acceptance, gain self compassion, learn new skills to address communication mishaps, and help you to feel more self affirmed. My approach in helping you incorporates the factors that make up who you are: your emotional, physical, social, historical, cultural, and spiritual aspects. During this process, we uncover areas that cause you to feel stuck and work on addressing the root cause. Together we will explore creative ways to overcome those barriers, building on your progress and successes. Choosing to invest in yourself for the betterment of your future begins with you.
