When you feel a lack of motivation, feel tired all the time no matter how much sleep you get and find yourself not enjoying the activities you once loved to do, these are signs of mild to moderate depression. Feelings of worthlessness or excessive feelings of guilt, thoughts of suicide or self-harm, loss of appetite may be signs that you are experiencing major depression. Most of us experience depression at some point in their lives, and many find it difficult to seek professional help.

If depression is left untreated, it can debilitate and sometimes have serious consequences in an individual’s life. Since depression affects the way you sleep and eat it can have serious effects on your health, your body, and your mood. Untreated depression adds strain to families, relationships and work.
