We use a HIPAA-compliant platform for video sessions from your computer, phone, or tablet. Video links are emailed to you prior to your session.

Yes, we do! Space is limited for in-person sessions.

Sevil Gonen, LMFT is $210 per 50-minute session.
Associate therapists is $150 per 50-minute session.

We ask for a 24-hour notice to cancel appointments. If cancellations are made during this time, you may be responsible for the full session fee. If you are an insurance client, insurance does not cover the cost of a missed session.

In your initial appointment, we will gather information about what your goals are for therapy, personal health history, and family mental health history, and discuss any questions or concerns about the therapy process.

We are in-network with Sutter EAP, DJUSD EAP, and CalVCB. We will need to verify your benefits prior to beginning therapy. Many of these companies allow for a set number of sessions, then it is the client’s responsibility to pay for the cost of each session.
We are in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Evernorth, United Healthcare, Optum, Western Health Advantage, Sutter Select. Contact our office for more details about your benefits and coverage.Coming soon! Check back wth our team for updates on more insurance contracts.

If we are not in-network with your insurance company. We are happy to provide a superbill for possible reimbursement from your insurance company. We strongly recommend that you contact your insurance company and ask them about your “Out-of-Network benefits for an outpatient mental health service”. Each plan is different and we have no way of knowing what your plan will cover. For those who need it we can provide a superbill or statement for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.
In some cases, we can help with a single-case agreement. This is one agreement with an insurance company and therapist for one client only. Please ask us for more information. We are happy to help.

A superbill is a document that includes your personal identifying information such as your name, date of birth, address, and other information needed by your insurance company. It will also include a diagnosis and dates of sessions with your therapist.

A statement is the dates of sessions, your personal information, and no diagnosis. Many clients like to have a statement over a superbill for privacy reasons. Or to submit for credit towards their annual deductible.

It depends. If you are under 18 years old, your parents will need to know about your session dates and have some part in services. Most information is still held under confidentiality unless it breaches the safety concerns of a minor. If you are over 18 years old but still on your parent’s insurance plan. You can begin therapy, however, we can not discuss your plan of care, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind unless you give us explicit rights to do so. Your therapist can discuss this in more detail with you.
